There’s something about rain. We love and fear it. It replenishes us, washes us clean, washes us away. And it definitely inspires songwriters.
When I started making up this Pop Stand playlist, I was amazed by how easily the titles came. Other than love, it’s hard to think of a word that appears more often in popular song than rain.
